The EMA 48 Full Pan Handmade Watercolor Set. All are in the cedar and bee series group. This is a group of conservation produced pigments for the professional painter. The colors are predominately semi transparent to opaque, names can be found written on the sides of the plastic full pans. They make a wonderful introduction to the world of antique to modern and contemporary pigments that last with lightfastness. Some stain others do not, they all have the ability to granulate, some are marked non toxic, low toxic and others toxic. They are also all on a magnetic base and general lift easily for cleaning or placing in a travel watercolor locket. The cover on this set is from an antique page of two indigenous men playing a mexican ball game by George Catlin, 1841. You can see the name label on the bottom of the pan in the last image above. The vintage chinese brushes shown come with this set. The price lists at 35% higher than marked.
