An Antique New Zealand Wood Jar With Plum Ochre Dry Pigment

This New Zealand black wood carved jar with lid comes as shown, with its antique bone monkey pendant (one of the abalone eyes went missing long ago and is listed ‘as is,’ but painted in. The jar size is 4 1/2” tall x 3 1/2” round. In the jar it comes with a 20 gram package of non toxic plum ochre dry pigment, a very deep rich iron red. It is about a 3/4 cup of pigment.
